Silicon Carbide Ceramic Foam filter
The SiC ceramic foam filters have a large surface area, which provides ample space for impurities to be captured and trapped during the filtration process. The increased surface area enhances the filtration efficiency and improves the overall effectiveness of impurity removal. They have a high porosity, allowing for optimal flow of molten metal and effective filtration. The interconnected pores create a tortuous path for the metal, facilitating the capture and retention of impurities, thereby ensuring cleaner and purer castings.
