Description:

 Ceramic filters have foam porous structure, they are made of refractory materials resistant to molten metals. They can be made into round, square, rectangular or other customized shapes and can be made into different sizes and apertures. It is mainly used in metallurgy and casting. In terms of casting, SiC foam ceramic filters are used to filter impurities in molten iron and alloys, ductile iron, gray iron and malleable castings, bronze castings, etc. It is also used as a gas and dust absorption medium in air purification projects.

Ceramic foam filter cartridge is extruded by diatomaceous earth. The micron rating of this cartridge is about 0.1μ M, which can move harmful substances, such as dust, particle and bacteria. It has many performances, such as high flow rate, long service life and chemical stable. The advantage of this cartridge is easy to wash. With steady molecular structure, inert ceramic ball has acid and alkali resistance, high temperature resistance, good thermal stability, low bibulous rate and high compressive strength. It is mainly used to increase the gas or liquid tau, support and protect the activity catalyst with low strength. At present, honeycomb ceramic filters have already begun to be applied to a lot of casting fields, in order to improve the dependability of casting performance and yield of the casting.
