Sefu Refractory Customized Silicon Carbide Ceramic Foam Filter for Metal Casting

Silicon carbide ceramic foam filter has just developed as a new type of molten metal filter to decrease casting flaws. It is made from high-quality ceramic materials, whose main components are Al₂O₃, SiC, and SiO₂.

Ceramic Foam Filter has the characteristics of light weight, excellent thermal shock resistance,  high mechanical strength, large specific surface areas, high porosity, chemical corrosion resistance, and high-temperature stability in molten metal.

With the distributing pores' net structure, they can increase the surface areas and absorb the sinter, the liquid metal becomes purer, water quality problems such as sand pores and air pores are much less and the casting quality becomes much better.
