Product Description

The Hydrogen Direct Reading Immersion System is an advanced tool designed for measuring hydrogen content in molten steel. Utilizing a closed circulation system and Sieverts' equilibrium measurement principle, this system provides precise determinations of hydrogen content. By immersing and analyzing the steel, this tool delivers fast and accurate data, supporting the steel industry in optimizing process control, reducing hydrogen uptake, and ensuring the quality of the final product.

Working Principle
Immersion probes can measure the hydrogen content of molten steel online. Nitrogen, as a carrier gas, enters the molten steel through the probe and absorbs the hydrogen in the molten steel until the hydrogen content in the carrier gas and the hydrogen content in the molten steel reach equilibrium.

Work Method
Nitrogen, as the carrier gas, is pushed through the gas line by the pump in the loop. The blowing pipe on the measuring gun and the probe enter the molten steel and form bubbles. The nitrogen bubbles absorb the hydrogen in the molten steel and return to the pneumatic cabinet through the vent plug of the inner hood of the probe, and the carrier gas circulates in the loop many times. Finally, the hydrogen content in the molten steel and the hydrogen partial pressure in the carrier gas reach equilibrium.
