Product Description
The molten steel online hydrogen determination system provides you with the method of online hydrogen measurement at the steelmaking site. It is fast and accurate. It makes it possible to directly control the hydrogen content in the steelmaking process.
The hydrogen probe is a disposable element. Inside it is equipped with a blowing quartz tube, a vent plug, a filter chamber, and a connecting piece. It is mainly composed of a high-temperature resistant quartz tube, high-strength aluminum alloy connector, corresponding filter material, high-temperature resistant paper tube, and splash-proof ceramic fiber. The whole measurement cycle can be completed within 30~60s.
Hydrogen Probe Accessories
Glass tube: The carrier gas is blown through the glass tube at the top of the probe.
Quartz tube: It has many functions such as protecting the probe and gun connector, recovering gas molecules, etc.
Porous Bricks: The nitrogen blown into the molten steel can be easily recovered from it.
Connector: The connector with O-ring allows the probe and spray gun to be plugged and unplugged firmly and tightly.
Slag blocking cap: The slag blocking cap is used to prevent steel slag from entering the porous bricks. It consists of paper cap and steel cap.
Refractory materials: The hydrogen-fixing probe in the tundish adopts ceramic refractory sleeve, and the hydrogen-fixing probe in the ladle adopts sand body.
Working Principle
Immersion probes can measure the hydrogen content of molten steel online. Nitrogen, as a carrier gas, enters the molten steel through the probe and absorbs the hydrogen in the molten steel until the hydrogen content in the carrier gas and the hydrogen content in the molten steel reach equilibrium.
