HONEYCOMB CERAMIC FILTER PLATE FOR CASTING
Ceramic filter plates are widely used in foundry industries such as steel, iron, aluminum, and copper.
It is made of cordierite-mullite and adopts a unique straight-channel honeycomb design, which can increase the specific surface area between the molten metal and the ceramic filter, thereby improving its adsorption capacity and the ability to capture tiny impurities, thereby taking away Metal impurities and gases make the metal stable and purify the metal liquid. It can not only reduce casting costs but also improve casting quality.
The ceramic honeycomb cast filter is basically round and square slice shape. The filter can effectively remove impurities and eliminate turbulence in the metal flow. The mullite-based ceramic material has a dense network structure that can withstand thermal shocks and extreme pouring temperatures; the honeycomb design also provides an engineering balance between flow rate and strength.
Our extruded ceramic filter has excellent performance, good thermal stability, high specific surface area, and acid and alkali resistance. They are suitable for a wide range of foundry filtration applications and processes.
